Hope of nothingness by Angler-Shark Hope of nothingness by Angler-Shark
I close my eyes in a world far away from here, a place where we meet again. Our past breathes down my throat, fading illusions that now plague me instead.

I see your smile, but also your despair. I see your joy, but also your sadness.

In my hand, the only part you left for me to guide me, the only thing that still is source of my strengths and my will to fight.

As relaxing as the water flows, in my thoughts and in my dream, you’re always in my mind. Seeing you this way is my own and only consolation…

----

Not my best one because of that stupid collar that hides my neck, so I look chubby... but I would say it's mostly for the emotion here, not for a super better look of the costume.

The day was pretty windy too so my collar is a little weird, my hair are wet. But don't mind this~

I also take the occasion to thank all of those who sent me great birthday wishes here on DA!

Since I am very sick, drown in a flu, (great for the first day of my new year...), it really made me feel happy under my mountain of blankets and tissues.

Thank you everyone!

Allow me to say that this one of my most favorite cosplay shots of yours? :blushes:

The entire photograph has such a big inner beauty itself... I don't know n_n It's the pose, the cold hues of blue, the shades, the amount of detail (nothing's blurry, so I'd dare to say the pictures quality just looks perfect), the emotions shown through the pose... the whole composition in general makes this photo a really, really great one, and yeah I'm being pretty honest here :aww:  It's not easy to get "into character", but I'd like to say that you succeed a lot in it >.< !! You're indeed a "living Raphael Sorel" :giggle:

But it's not the picture alone though... I always like reading the sentences you write in the artist's comment, which complement and describe the photo at its best. Have to say you're pretty good at writting, 'cause it sounds so touching, so magical... it does really express the thoughts which the real Raphael Sorel would have in the game, when he's searching for Amy. And I like it a lot

And my, so sorry for the late Happy Birthday wishes ; w ; my life is going a bit crazy these days, sigh :___D And well, hope you get better from this flue, ok D: ? I send my best wishes for you to recover as soon as possible! :la:

Aaaaand... to my favs this mega awesome photo it goes! :dummy:

You're so kind, sweetie, thank you so much!

I can see that you have the great sense of observation as well. Real artists know how to comment I would say, since they say what captivates their attention. ;)

Wow, I am so glad to know this from a person that has a great camera, because this picture was taken with a medium quality one. ~Cristal-Knight loves to take pictures of me, but he still can't afford for a better camera (will be in future), so on my side, it amazes me at how good the quality appears to be! He already told me: "Sometimes, you don't need a super awesome camera to take great pictures. It's how you take them." and I can only but to agree with him. Though having a good model of camera surely helps for sure. I think it's how you use it? I'm not very good in this (I'm just a model!), so anyway.

Getting "into character" is not that difficult on my side. It depends on how you chose your character I would say.

About the writings, I always try to add something that would 'tell a story' to all of them. I really want to give the aspect as if the moment was real and such. On your point of view, I think I succeeded well and it's very great to know! :D

Somebody who only says: "This is me as *insert character* and etc.", sounds a tad boring on my side, but it's not everybody that wants to do that. xD

It's alright about the birthday. You wouldn't be the only one and what counts is that you told me now. It's still in the same week anyway. ;)

I'm already getting better! I'm in that state since the 6th, but it got worse right at my birthday...

Thank you for everything! I'll treasure your gift on my side!

Well, first of all, I'm so sorry I haven't been able to answer you comment... having these problems with logging into "EroreWind"'s account from home (I'm at art school at the moment). Already sent an email to admins... let's see if they solve my problem soon >_<

And yey, I like photography a lot, that's why I love commenting on the photo's details and such... also like giving my opinion on the photo, to let the person know why I liked the pic that much :la: But Siegfried is ok, no matter if the camera isn't a very good one, it's the photographer who takes the shots, who chooses the angle, the ambience's light, etc. Behind the camera there is always a person, and this is more important than rather having a good camera or not. I chose to go for a dslr one 'cause I wanted to get better and further in photography, I needed "something more complex". But hey, I'm sure that you two will be able to have a great camera in the future :aww:  And also... the camera can be as good as you want... if you're not good at it, the camera's features won't matter at all.

Heheh right, you've always been good in getting into character with Raphael Sorel :giggle: And yup, I think you always succeed with the photo's descriptions  As said, always enjoy reading them ^^

And well alright ^^; Still, I'm so happy you liked Amy's picture ^^ Must confess I was looking forward to draw this character after getting more drawing skills, and guess it worked out pretty well

And hey, so glad to know that you're getting better! :la: Please take lots of care, and remember, we can still talk through Skype... and let's see if the damn logging problem gets solved, sigh... =___=

I saw that you had problems, but with your new journal, I am glad to know that you managed to log on once again!

I think you are right. However, there always will be a picture quality that makes the difference.;)

But at the same time, it's kind of true. I know a lot of people that can takes great pictures with a medium quality camera. But anyway, he'll get his dslr (I don't even know what it is), or something of the sort probably this year! :D

And thank you so much, once again!

It worked very well, she looks way better and especially with the Copic Markers (you did use this, right?). These little ones gives a great result!

I'm more than better now since that time! I still cough and sneeze but it could be way worst!

See you soon on Skype, hopefully. ;)

Ow yeah... x_x I am also happy (lol), it really sucks not being able to enter your account when you know you've got many messages yet to reply >_>

And yeah, of course the final quality matters ^^; Buuut you don't need to have the best camera in the world in order to choose the best "scenes"... oh, and DSLR is the type of camera ^^; referring to these black, big photo cameras (like mine). And why not, that would be a perfect Christmas present indeed :meow: !

You're most welcome m'Lord, at your service~ Heheehehehe ;P

And yep, I used Copics for Amy :aww: Wanted it to look as much special as possible! :dummy: As I told you, I'm totally in love with these markers~

Glad to know you're more recovered by now, yay! :la: Colds and flus.. or flues, whatever it's spelled... are never nice >_<

Perhaps tomorrow ^^; I'll submit some comic pages I've done at art school and will go have some rest x_x

Wow! A wonderful picture and a very beautiful poem as always !
I very like the laterally pose and wow I see how detailed the bat buttons on your shoulders are! Oh and Amy`s ribbon is just amazing !!So detailed and beautiful!!!You really are a genius !I think it`s the first time that I can see your bat accessoires and the ribbon nearer and clearer^^
Your cosplay is the best and always amazed me!!

To the background , I just love it !The water makes a beautiful scene and for me it`s a bit like a fairytale along with the beautiful poem!
At the top the water is clearer and at the bottom of the picture the water is a bit blurred but I love this effect!! I have to say this is a very awsome photo!!

Only looking at this photo ( but also all your other photos :) ) you know it tells a big story! And I think if you notice this on a picture , the picture is good ;) But yours is perfect!!!

Hehe little question: are your hair wet ? For me it looks a bit like they are wet and I very like that they hang in your face ^^That`s very beautiful :)

Wow again !!beautiful picture!! keep it up! I am excited ;)

Thank you so much, miss! As always, it's a great and pleasant comment to read from you, like always!

You have a great sense of art, I can tell by how you describe what you see/like! :) I also think that the background was great for this (when we saw that place, we really wanted to have some pictures there).

I try to tell a story at each of my pictures. It's really what I wanted to make, to add some short texts to each of them that could tell a certain story, instead of just saying who took the pictures and 'Me as *insert character*'. I want my work to be unforgettable if I can say. ;)

To answer your little question: Yes, my hair are a little wet. The temperature was quite windy and the water always was splashing against me. xD So in the end, they looked like that on the picture. It adds realism? ;)

I'm so glad to know you like the picture and also to know it looks that great on your point of view!

Thank you again, dear!
